Help with soy candle making – what types of decorations can I safely add?
I’ve made soy candles before but the only thing I’ve added is dye and fragrance. I was wondering if it’s safe to add things like potpourri or dried flowers (to the wax itself) to decorate them. I am making jar candles, not molds. Any ideas/tips on what would be safe to use? Thanks!
You said you have used dye. Would it be possible to put in certain amount of different colors of dyes and “swirl” it around? I don’t know anything about making the candles but I have envisioned some made like that and it shouldn’t cost anymore than what you have now.
EDIT What I meant was to put the color or colors in different spots of the candle and turn it arond so it swirls through and down the candle.
