Choose Teaching Jobs Abroad To Escape Britain's Winter Weather
It is not always enjoyable living in the UK when wind, rain and flooding batters at your doorway from October to February. During the golden years of retirement, many people move away over the Christmas season only to return to Britain once the snow begins to melt. If you have not quite reached retirement age but would love to sun yourself instead of struggle through the snow, then think about teaching jobs abroad.
You do not have to hold a teaching degree in order to teach English in a foreign country, but you will need to complete a TEFL course. EFL training and other courses can be taken part-time or through distance learning, making it easier to work whilst you learn. carrying out your course in the summer means that as soon as winter arrives, you are ready to jet off and become a TEFL teacher.
If you have a job in the UK which does not allow you to leave for two or three months in the year then this plan might not be for you however for those of us whose working pattern is more casual, you could be working in different exotic countries every year for the rest of your working life. China, South America, Japan, Africa and Asia all have opportunities for British natives to travel there to teach English as a foreign language.
Whilst flights are not always included in your contract, you can find jobs that include accommodation or give you discounted accommodation, your hours of work are less than average and the cost of living is lower than the UK.
Just imaging lying on the beach with an icy cocktail after an easy day of teaching whilst your colleagues back home are stuck at a desk, staring into a grey sky and wishing they were half as lucky as you. Pure Delight!
