Can i bake food in this type of a pan?
You can tell by the bottom of the pan that is was clay/pottery that has been fired with some type of brown paint, it is shiny and nice looking. It says “West Bend, USA” on the bottom. It was at a yard sale…….just wanted to see what people say before i try to bake with it, thanks much
P.S. Yes i cleaned the pan up with bleach soap. 
Well West-Bend makes bake pans and cooking pots but if you bought it at a yard sale,It might of been made in the 1970s and I wouldn’t bake with it for fear of lead or any other chemical.I would use it for maybe cold salad or perhaps sliced garlic bread,something of that nature.
I wouldn’t bake with it.
