Wooden Blocks for Kids Encourage Learning and Imagination
Wooden building blocks have been around for centuries. They have been played with for centuries because they were small, easy to make and easy to carry. For many children wooden blocks are some of the first toys that they have, and some of the most played with toys.

Babies learn about their world through their mouths as much as anything else. That’s why everything goes into their mouths. They feel different textures and sizes. Throwing things teaches them object permanence and cause and effect.

As the world has gotten more sophisticated and faster paced some parents have started buying electronic toys for their very young children. They think that those toys will help them learn more and encourage their imagination more. They won’t even know that they are learning since they will be having so much fun playing with the blocks.
