Are there glasses available for programmers to block peripheral vision?
One of my concerns is office spaces are getting lower and lower cubicles. As a programmer I hate having anything come out of the corner of my eye. Are there any glasses one could wear at work that just block the corners of my eye so I can concentrate on the monitor? I would have to imagine someone invented these.
I could but I would imagine there is a professional version out there.
You could get those black, rectangular frames that are popular now, where the side things are as wide as the lenses.
When I was trying on frames when getting new glasses recently, I had occasion to try some of these and I thought they were like wearing horse blinders, They would drive me nuts, as I use my peripheral vision, (even if it is blurry). But they might be perfect for your application.
