Hairdresser Question – Covering grey hair with permanent hair dye..?
I’ve had a total mental block, when mixing up hair dye to cover grey do you need to make sure the colour has base dye or gold in it?

My mom has grey hair and is always dying it to cover up the greys. She uses normal hair dye to cover up the greys and works a treat. Her hair dresser told her normal hair dye works fine. Garnier hair dyes work very well to cover up grey hairs. Hope this has helped.
