Solution For House Mold
Mold is a bacterial fungus that can breed on dead plants and animals. However, if there is a moist surrounding in the house it can strike materials in the house or a building such as walls, closet, ceiling, cupboard etc. The most common areas in the house where mold can develop are the basement, bathrooms, attic and the kitchen. Besides damaging the aesthetic appeal of the house it also have some health hazards as well. A lot of children, old people, and asthmatic patients are vulnerable to infection and breathing problem with the existence of mold in the house.
It can be an costly procedure to get rid of mold from the house if not dealt in time. At the same time it is also necessary to look for areas in the house through which moisture is entering in and helping in the breed and spread of mold. Although once can remove the mold on their own, it is best to get professional expertise to get a permanent answer to this situation.
Last year after the rains I happened to go to the basement of our home one day and saw these ghastly black scraps on the walls. The same evening I went to the attic of the house and saw similar black scraps on the ceiling and walls. I instantly figured out that it was mold and if not attended to it in time can spread to the rest of the house. The very next day I decided to clean the mold by myself and washed the walls with warm water, detergent and bleach. It took me 3 days to clean the basement and the attic. However, a complete solution to this problem was needed. As I was cleaning the basement I observed that there were leakage in the pipes and both the attic and basement were completely wanting of ventilation. I also found out that the roof of the attic was damaged and the rain droplets was entering inside.
The next day I contacted plumbers in Pasadena to come and have a look at our basement. They immediately acknowledged to my call and came and fixed all the dripping pipes and faucets. It was also suggested by them to have a routine maintenance of all plumbing lines and pipes to prevent mold formation at all.
To repair the leaking roof of the attic I decided to call roofers in Pasadena. They not only fixed the roof well but also suggested to install skylight on the roof to allow natural light in the attic. I thought it to be a good idea as the increased natural light will reduce mold growth.
Another need to dispense all instances of mold development was to install effective ventilation technique in the attic as well as the basement. It was therefore suggested by electricians in Pasadena to install ceiling fans and exhaust fans to allow proper ventilation inside these places. This proved to be highly effective answer to this problem and I will avail their services in future for all electrical purposes in the house.
