Fragrance Lamps, Stone Burner And Wicks – Proper Use, Care, And Cleaning

HOW TO LIGHT A FRAGRANCE LAMP
– fill the lamp a maximum of 2/3 full with Fragrance Fuel. Run the Wick down into the lamp, allowing the Stone Burner to rest snugly along with the metal band at the top of the Fragrance Lamp. Placed the snuffer cap above the stone burner. After Twenty or so minutes take away the snuffer cap, light the stone burner and let the flame to burn for Three to four minutes. TURNING A FRAGRANCE LAMP OFF
when you’d like to ‘turn your lamp off’, do among the following
1] If you are intending being lighting your Fragrance Lamp again yearly 7 days and you still have Two or three inches of Fragrance Fuel from the lamp, position the snuffer cap over the stone burner. – Don’t soak dirty, gummed up wicks in cleaning solution hoping to get it clean – that you are just letting the sediments settle into your stone burner
– your Stone Burner/Wick should have an incredibly small wire that goes over the top of burner. DO NOT EVER REMOVE THAT WIRE. A Catalytic Stone Burner and Wick seriously isn’t like any different of wick.
– Usually do not push/pull the wick up from the stone buner such as a traditional wick. These wicks are simply just not made doing this and you may ruin it
– to wash your stone burner and fragrance lamp at the same time, burn some 4-in-one-solution as part of your fragrance lamp. You will clean your lamp,burner, and your breathing air all while doing so

Fragrance Lamp Safety Tips
1. Treat fragrance fuel like you would isopropyl alcohol. Will not store it beside a wide open flame and do not allow children to the touch your Fragrance Lamp while in use.
2. Never leave the stone burning through an open flame
3. Use the small funnel included with your Fragrance Lamp to pour the Fragrance Fuel into your Fragrance Lamp. Always clean any spills of fuel immediately and prior to light the lamp.
4. Don’t fill your lamp completely to the top level. 2/3 – 3/4 full is ok
5. Never place snuffing cap over a wide open flame.
6. Do not refill the fragrance lamp until stone burner is cool to the touch.
Fragrance fuel is fragrance oil suspended within an isopropyl alcohol base. This fragrance lamp fuel could be the lower catalytic process which effuses the fragrance into the air.
my own , personal experience
The instructions provided above provide the fundamentals added with Catalytic Fragrance Lamps, with my very own updated findings over the past few years. The testing and research I’ve got done has had me thru several of the Stone Burners while determining exactly what can and should not be performed with these wicks.
But Onaya’s latest Stone Burner and Wick lasts longer, are much easier to take care of, and will take more abuse or forgetfulness. Like when you forget to set the snuffer cap on when every one of the fuel is finished.
