Is it safe to eat sliced jalapenos in a jar with black stuff floating on top?
What would cause the black stuff floating in a jar of slice jalapenos? Is it safe to eat?
I wouldn’t. The jar was probably opened, and that is probably mold and other funk that started rotting in the crevasse of the lid.
Jalepenos are cheap, go buy a fresh jar.
