Is it Ok to use ACRYL60 acrylic concrete additive in my hypertufa mix? The more the stronger the better?
will acrylic additives affect the important leaching process which follows molding and curing, since acrylic additives make concrete more water-resistant? Will leaching take longer if acrylic is used?
I always use an acrylic additive in my cement products. But I still use 50% water and 50% acrylic (because the acrylic is expensive!). Not sure what you mean by the leaching process. I haven’t found that the curing time takes any longer. You can also try embedding carpenter’s cloth (small holded chicken wire) or lathe (screen used for stucco)for strength if you are concerned.
