Christine O’Donnell And Witchcraft – Boil And Trouble

A figure of no small debate, Tea Party prospect O’Donnell of Delaware has drawn more than her fair share of negative publicity of late. First was the innovative way O’Donnell referred to her collegiate history. The born-again Protestant has also gone embarrassingly public with her anti-masturbation views. Now the Christian Science Monitor reports that more of the former wild child’s past has leaked into public view. Christine O’Donnell brought up witchcraft on a 1999 episode of the Bill Maher talk show “Politically Incorrect”. She told the stunned panel that she had “dabbled in witchcraft.” Article resource – Christine O’Donnell tried witchcraft, continues hexing elections by Newystype.com.

Christine O’Donnell’s witchcraft comment might point to Wicca

O’Donnell may not know witchcraft, reported by the Wiccan data available at the Australian site Witchcraft.com. Elaborating within the video clip below, she claims she went on a date where there was a “Satanic altar” present. Witchcraft.com defines Wicca in terms that would seem to contradict O’Donnell’s Satanic flashes. Natural cycles and their beauty are celebrated in sacred ceremony that contains nothing found in bad horror films. As nature takes no sides, Wicca is also neutral. Whether Christine O’Donnell’s Senate aspirations will continue to endure is questionable, but fellow Republicans reportedly would love to see her either keep quiet or vanish to the mists of Avalon.

‘I never joined a coven,’ stated O’Donnell

O’Donnell claims the witchcraft was merely a chapter in her young life. She doesn’t currently profess to practice witchcraft, which would likely not sit well with O’Donnell’s current deity, who professes in his own sales literature to be “a jealous God”. Even GOP strategist exemplar Karl Rove is at a loss when it comes to bailing this woman out. He has jumped on the “she can’t win” bandwagon. Republican Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana has called for O’Donnell to publicly explain her 1999 comments. On “Fox News Sunday” just lately, Rove even went as far as to say he is “seriously concerned” about O’Donnell’s background and character.

The witchcraft of vanishing money

But witchcraft isn’t the whole story; it gets worse. Reported by Raw Story, O’Donnell is under investigation by ethics groups in Washington. Reported by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, O’Donnell allegedly used $ 20,000 of campaign cash for her own personal needs. If O’Donnell is indeed guilty, such would not be unheard of within the game of politics. However that certainly does not make it right. The idea of Christine O’Donnell claiming that she’s all about responsible government spending is interesting in this case, to say the least.
