Make sure that you clean out humidifiers regularly because mold can grow there as well. Greenish and slimy growth in the chamber of the humidifier means that mold is present. When the blower is turned on, mold spores will be circulated in your home, so try to clean your humidifiers regularly.
Mold growth is quite common in the bathroom. You can use a disinfectant cleaner to clean your bathroom everyday. Clean the mirror first, the sink, tub, toilet, wall and the floor. Use safety goggles, rubber gloves and other protective garments when cleaning the bathroom. It would also be good if you install an exhaust vent in your bathroom and other water prone areas in your home. If ventilation is a problem, you can open the windows and doors.
