Warm Drinks For A Cold Night
That chilly season is coming when you want to stay inside, cuddled up with a blanket, your favorite person and a favorite steaming beverage. Maybe it’s a cup of coffee, hot chocolate, or a drink with a kick, you prefer, but you’ll want to try these drink recipes that will warm you all over.
One favorite beverage on a winter night is hot chocolate. There are many ways to serve hot chocolate; some make it with water, some with milk. Some prefer marshmallows while others prefer a stick of cinnamon. But for those who can, a cold night might call for a cup of Adult Hot Chocolate. It’s simple to make by adding a little peppermint schnapps to a cup of cocoa and then topping it with whipped cream. For another twist on hot chocolate you might want to try Caribbean hot chocolate which includes dark rum and Brown Crème de Cacao added to your mug of cocoa.
Coffee, a common morning drink, can be served any time of the day. Those looking for a caffeine kick as well as a warm alcoholic beverage, may want to try Coffee Royale or a Comforting Coffee. While we wouldn’t recommend these as a morning drink they might make a great drink recipe for after dinner or with dessert. Coffee Royale is simpler to make and includes brandy, sugar, and heavy cream mixed with a mug of black coffee. A Comforting Coffee gets its name from the Southern Comfort that’s added along with cream bourbon, and Brown Crème de Cacao.
Some other drinks for a cold night include Golden Apple Cider or mulled ale. Golden apple cider is an alcoholic beverage that includes hot apple cider mixed with Goldschlager drinks. If you have less of a sweet tooth, you may want a hot cup of mulled ale. Use your favorite flavor of ale, or beer, stirred into a hot mixture of sugar, butter, ginger, and eggs.
