Anwr Oil Drilling Dynamics
The ANWAR drilling issue is a complex one. The debate is on over ANWR oil drilling. It’s a complex situation which leads to many diverse opinions. On one hand the country needs oil. The world needs oil. The entire world economy is based on oil. People think if there were no need for gas there would be no need for oil. But people use heating oil too.
And gas or not, an engine with moving parts requires oil as a lubricant. But ANWR oil drilling has an even bigger impact on another segment of people’s lives. Petroleum is used to make many things we use every day. That includes electronics from computers to televisions. Plastic components and some of the internal components are made with oil.
ANWR oil drilling gets a lot of comments from people. This one comes from a blog post. The writer claims drilling there won’t produce much oil. The argument goes further to suggest that the oil won’t be accessed until 2026. That’s a misrepresentation of ANWR oil drilling. If there’s hardly any oil there, then drilling won’t go on for a long time. The impact to the environment will be quite low. As for the 2026 argument it’s the same argument that was made 18 and more years ago. A journey of 1000 miles begins with but a single step. We can’t produce oil if we never start drilling. Here’s another opinion against ANWR oil drilling.
We’ll only need oil until we stop using it. Drilling more only delays the end to oil use. The answer is this: why bathe tonight, we’re going to die some day. Then we won’t need to bathe, so lets save water by not washing. Pro ANWR oil drilling people can be just as lame. One man said: Smaller cars get out of my way. If I’m in a smaller car, I lose the right of way. To reply to that: You don’t belong on the road if you think you need a big vehicle to bully people. An Alaskan guide said, in regard to ANWR oil drilling, that 80% of the oil currently drilled in Alaska goes to Japan. Given that does it make sense to keep drilling? That’s easy to answer. Just because a farmer sells his food doesn’t mean he should stop growing it. Everyone else has chimed in about ANWR oil drilling. What do you think? Inevitabley,the ANWR drilling debates continues…
