What clock speed for quad core processor?
I am going to buy a new laptop soon and intend on getting a quad core processor, but there are three different types available: 1) 2 Ghz, 2) 2.26 Ghz, 3) 2.53 Ghz. Obviously the higher clock speed would be better, but it’s $750.00 more than the 2 Ghz. Is that .53 Ghz really worth nearly a grand more? I will be using this laptop for music, gaming, movies, general paper work, net surfing, etc… Thanks!
For quad-core processors, keep the $750.00. It is not needed and will be a waste of money. Get a good $700.00 Video Card and $50 worth of Ram instead.
