How much oil is used in the creation of a plastic bottle?
I have a question concerning oil and plastic bottles. About how much oil/crude oil is used to say create your typical 500ML water bottle or anything of the sorth?
Except for the manufacturing process.
None, it comes from Natural Gas Ethylene, synthesized with many other chemicals including other byproducts of Natural Gas, including Benzene and Dimethyl terephthalate.
