when can i take a test?
hi everyone
me and my husband were going to start ttc in january, but we have started to ttc last night, i still dont have a period after stopping from the implanom implant (birth control). so i dont know when i can start testing to see whether we are pregnant or not
i started folic acid a month ago and i am eating healthly, hubby is taking zinc tablets, we dont really drink much and we dont smoke
so when can i test
Since your periods haven’t returned yet it’s hard to say when to test. Also, be aware that since your periods haven’t returned then ovulation also hasn’t returned and without ovulation you won’t get pregnant. But the good part is that you could ovulate at anytime. If I were in your position I would probably buy a few of the cheapie tests, they are all FDA regulated and all hpt’s are the same, and I would test maybe once every 3-4 weeks. Ok, I’m a POAS addict so *I* would test like once a week, but I’m sure a normal person would test much less, lol!
If your periods haven’t returned within about 4 months after the implanon removal then you need to go see your Gyn for something to jumpstart a period, like Provera or Prometrium.
