what other products should i use to give my car a good exterior cleaning other then car soap and car wax?
i have car soap and car wax? what else should i use to clean my car to get a good clean? are there any other products that dont fall under the same catagory and repeat them selves. should i also use a clay bar polisher or any of that stuff or does the wax do that?
clay bars dont polish
their only purpose is to remove dirt/particles/overspray that is stuck to the paint, that normal washing wont get rid off, leaving the surface smooth
can also use it on windows/rims, etc
but do paint first
heres what you should do for a good clean
1. wash
2. clay
3. paint cleaner ( if needed, which probably do)
4. pure polish
5. wax
1. wash-any wash will do
2. clay-meguiars clay kit ( comes with sample of cleaner wax)
3. paint cleaner-can use the sample of cleaner wax) and work it into the paint,
4. polish- since the cleaner wax has polish in it, you can skip this step
5. wax- i suggest meguiars nxt 2.0 tech wax, or you canuse your own wax,
this is what i do, i like it, i also like topping the tech wax with some turtle wax ice, i think it gives it more of a wet look, and can also do your trim/bumpers with it and everything
then theres tires shine also, any brand will really do
