any body crochet prt2?
the beginning of this hat it said to: Cast on 4 chain, jwss, 1st round- 8 sc into ring, join this round and every round with ss and cont withsc, now this is where i’m stumped and I haven;t even started!*2nd rnd- double 4 times every alt st=12 sts*3rd rnd-double 6 times everyalt st=18sts. *rnds 4-13- on every rnd double 6 times 1 st. Where i’ve put a star next to is what beats me, then it says on the 13th rnd to double every 12th stitch= 78 sts. on 14th round inc 1 st evenly across=80 sts. cont without inc until work measures 12cm or 4 3/4”= approx. 20 rounds… then it continues on then there is a chart for a pattern to follow. can someone help me out with this please?
Took me a while to get it, but where the pattern says “double” they are telling you to increase (2 stitches in the same space = 1 increase).
So for 2nd rnd you would increase in every other stitch
3rd rnd, you would increase every third st.
rnds 4-13 you would evenly space 6 increases around each round. and so on….
Does this make more sense?
